Changelog

Changes to the public DOOLAE API. Additive changes are listed as they ship; anything breaking comes only in a new major version (/v2). Deprecated parts of a version keep working at least 12 months, announced here and with Deprecation, Sunset and Link response headers on the affected endpoints.

2026-10-07 — v1 update

• QR payments are Starter and up. GET /v1/account → features.qr_payments is now false for landlords on the Free plan (it was always true). For them, POST /v1/bills/{bill_id}/payment-link answers 409 bill_not_payable, and a payment_url issued earlier no longer opens a new QR. A payment the provider already confirmed is still recorded.

2026-10-07 — v1

First release of the DOOLAE API.

• Resources: account, properties, rooms, tenants, meters and meter readings, bills, payments (read-only), LINE notifications and messages, events, webhook endpoints.
• Writes:
  • create and update properties (delete empty ones), and create and update rooms;
  • move tenants in and out;
  • record and correct meter readings, and create bills;
  • create payment links;
  • send bill notices and messages.
• Authentication: API keys (dl_live_…, dl_test_…) with scopes, landlord consent and connected accounts, the DOOLAE-Account header.
• Sandbox: sample landlord account per application; POST /v1/test-helpers/payments simulates payments.
• Webhooks: 21 event types, HMAC-SHA256 signatures with timestamps, 8 attempts over about 45 hours, replay, secret rotation with a 24-hour overlap.
• Platform:
  • cursor pagination;
  • Idempotency-Key on all writes;
  • per-account rate limits and monthly quotas;
  • consistent errors with request IDs;
  • OpenAPI 3.1 at /openapi.json and /openapi.yaml.
